"Afghan Massacre: The Convoy of Death" is a Documentary film produced by Irish documentary filmmaker Jamie Doran about the alleged war crimes committed on Taliban. The film has been broadcast on national television in countries all over the world and has been screened by the European parliament. Human rights lawyers are calling for investigation into whether U.S. forces are guilty of war crimes. But no U.S. media outlet has broadcast the film.

The film tells the controversial story about the murder of thousands of Taliban prisoners who surrendered to the U.S. military's Afghan allies after the siege of Kunduz. A major battle was raging between the Northern Alliance forces of Rashid Dostum and the suddenly vulnerable Taliban. Following the battle, thousands of the latter surrendered, under assurances that they would not be harmed. Some three thousand of the prisoners were forced into sealed containers and loaded onto trucks for transport to Sheberghan prison. People presented as eyewitnesses claim that Taliban prisoners were transported incontainersfor several days. Eyewitnesses said that when the prisoners began shouting for air, U.S.-allied Afghan soldiers fired directly into the truck, killing many of them. These witnesses say US Special Forces re-directed the containers carrying the living and dead into the desert and stood by as survivors of the ordeal were shot and buried. Now, up to three thousand bodies lie buried in a mass grave.

'Afghan Massacre- the convoy of death' tells of how American special forces took control of the operation, re-directed the containers carrying the living and dead into the desert and stood by survivors are shot and killed. And it details how the Pentagon lied to the world in order to cover up its role in the greatest atrocity of the entire Afghan War. This is the documentary they did not want us to see. It was produced over ten months in extremely dangerous circumstances: eyewitnesses were threatened, the film crew went into hiding and our researcher was savagely beaten to within an inch of his life.

A documentary that has been broadcast on national television in several countries all over the world revealed the truth about the heinous crimes committed by the American troops in Afghanistan. The film "Afghan Massacre: The Convoy of Death" presented a massacre held by the American troops where they put "Taliban prisoners in containers and shot them dead" Not surprising, all American channels refused to broadcast the film, which provides eyewitness testimony that U.S. troops were complicit in the massacre of thousands of Taliban prisoners during the Afghan War. They are calling for investigation into whether U.S. Special Forces are guilty of war crimes. At one point, Northern Alliance soldiers on the outside were told to make "ventilation" by shooting holes in the trucks. But whereas they could have done this in a safe way by shooting towards the top of the containers, they just shot at random, with the macabre but not unexpected result that they killed prisoners inside.

As a conclusion, this film is very disappointing event as it alleges American war crimes in Afghanistan. The producer in an interview claims that the Pentagon, State Department and US media have done their best to keep this film from Americans. Two of the Afghan witnesses interviewed in this film have since been murdered. Outraged human rights groups and lawyers are calling for an investigation but the U.N. special envoy to Afghanistan refuses any U.N.-backed investigation until the Afghan government can protect witnesses. Two of the witnesses in the film have already been killed.
