The research objective of the project is 'effectiveness of the training and development program in Counto Microfines Product Pvt. Ltd. The need of this objective was found because according to the manager of the company, even after giving the training to the employees the performance of the employees was not improved and they were not performing up to the mark. So as to found out the reason behind low performance the research was conducted.

I started up with the overall information about the organization. Later on I found out some information about the training and development program through pilot questionnaire in all the departments. As there was no permission to interact with the employees, I took historical for the analysis.

In the historical data it was found that the trainings were given again and again it was so because the training was not effective and need of these trainings were found again. The study of the research proceeded with interaction with the manager and analysis of the historical data.

During the analysis of the historical data it was found that some training programs were ineffective whereas in some training programs employees were enable to grasp the teachings of training programs.

The historical data was analyzed and presented in graphs that what percent of training is effective and what percent of training is ineffective, whether there was any problem in the training program or is it the employee who is lacking in grasping the teachings of the training program

After the analysis it was found that some training programs were ineffective and in some training programs employees were ineffective. The reason for ineffectiveness of the training programs was lack of planning that is they didn't had proper training method and mode.

They were not keeping the record of employees performance after training this was so because they didn't had proper method of evaluation. The data analysis showed many faults in the process of training and development program

Conclusion:

According to my experience of 1 month in Counto Microfines Product Pvt. Ltd. i can conclude that no company can carry out its training program without proper planning that is they didn't had proper training procedure as such, they were not keeping the record of the employee's performance after training.

Learning:

I learnt that without proper planning a company cannot carry out its training programs

When training is given the performance of the employees should be measured

There should be proper method of training and rating the performance of the employees

My suggestion:

To reduce the ineffectiveness of training programs the company should follow a proper procedure of training that is:

Organizational Objectives: They should see what is objective of their company and accordingly frame the training programs.

Needs Assessment: They should find out training need of each department

Training Objectives: They should frame a proper training objective

Select the Trainees: They should select the trainees who will give the training

Select the Training Methods and Mode: They should select a proper training method which will be effective and easy for them.

Choose a Means of Evaluating: currently they don't evaluate the performance after the training is been provided, so they should find out how they are going to evaluate the employees.

Administer Training: they should check / administer the training properly

Evaluate the Training: lastly they should evaluate the employees after the training is been given by which it will be easier for them to know whether the employee has improved or not.
