This report has been written to explore the possibility of turning traditional cricket magazine which is published by company named Sporting Publications, in to e Zine version. . For the same, different types of online revenue models and their characteristics were studied so that the most appropriate model could be adopted for the web based strategies of the company. However, the company has been publishing the magazine every month and making it available on a subscription basis. As a matter of fact, the number of reader is constant for 2 years, being constant at a figure of 6,500 subscribers, whilst the printing and distribution cost has been rising @10% per year. So, the company wants to venture into the online world considering the future of its magazine.

From the definition, a revenue model is the business plan for organization or website to earn money. In other word, revenue models define how a company creates their revenues and hence serves as the integral part of a business model. The different types of revenue models are as follows:

The Advertising Revenue Model

Advertising is the most important part of any business, whether it be an online or offline. It can also be considered as the primary source of business such as for companies whether engaged in internet advertising, television advertising, news print advertising or some other forms of print or verbal advertising.

The advertising revenue model is easy to implement and also known as oldest revenue model. It has been divided into two main subcategories which are as follows:

A. Direct Advertising

B Contextual Advertising

Direct Advertising

It is the simplest and traditional way or strategy which aimed at reaching consumers without the involvement of any type of intermediary to establish the connection. For example, direct mail is the most common type of direct advertisement. It helps to generate mail orders and eliminates the need to sell products through third parties. In this models add space is directly sell to business on monthly basic such as (cost per 1000 web site impressions) or costs per click or any other agreement made between company and consumer. From the above all study about the different types of revenue models and after carrying out further research and analysis work considering all the possible factors of business profitability, the most appropriate decision and conclusion that can be drawn for the company to undertake for launching its Cricket E-Zine is the Advertising - Subscription Mixed Revenue Model. This model will help the company to generate its revenue from both the sources, subscriber as well as from advertisements. However, newsprint used to be the effective advertisement medium but with the rise of Internet the newspaper circulation has been seen decreasing, therefore, people are more focused on internet advertising method rather than physical newsprint form of advertisement for wide geographical coverage. As a matter of fact, there arises increase possibility of subscription whether serving only the personal interest or business. And also with the advancement in the information and communication technology, the demand of Internet based activities and its reach has taken a greater and wider leap within the decade of years among all the generation groups and types such as students, professionals, business and commercials.

Anyone can share their interests related to their personal lifestyles, fashions, fields of study or research, business and commerce through these virtual communications.

As the business that the company called Sporting Publication is going to venture is Internet based, creating its own online forums and virtual communities will add a positive merit in business promotion and advertisement on channel basis, from one person to other. Online communities facilitate social interaction and exchange between users online. Four different kind of social and professional found on web page are known as virtual community. There are different types of virtual communities such as Internet message board, online chat room and virtual worlds.

An Internet message board is like a junction point when people do nitration, debate and share different ideas and also share their felling on different topics. The user can choose in which threat or discussion .he can share or contribute his felling or ideas .One user stands discussion and contribution topic by making a point and threaded and other personals that are interest can contribution and the discussed topic by written thoughts. . As the technology is advancing, they are equally posed with different types of threats as well. There can be seen increasing number of internet crimes everyday around the globe. Therefore, it is compulsory to aware from attacker while implanting or design services. It will help effectively in designing mitigations for vulnerabilities and coding defensively. The major types of security features key to the security or protection of the internet services are authentication, authorisation, auditing, confidentiality, integrity, and availability in action.

The three types of major threats posed by the security of the subscribers' details held online by the third party finance organisation along with the countermeasure that could be taken are as follows:

i. Confidential Information disclosure. It is the viewing of the private data by an unauthorised person or sometimes unwantedly exposed because of the security vulnerabilities of the service provider. For example, sometimes the very secrete information of the clients get exposed due to the security weakness. It also includes the use of hidden form fields, comments embedded in webpage containing database connections and threads, which can be very useful for the attacker.

Countermeasure: This occurs due to the vulnerabilities such as failing to audit failed logons, secure log files, storing sensitive information in log files and failure to throttle log files. Hence, these can be overcome with identifying malicious behaviour, using application instrumentation to expose behaviour that can be monitored, throttle logging and stripping sensitive data before logging.

ii. Password cracking. The attacker will tray to establish ethnical connection to find out password of the other user while he /she unable to establish anonymous connection .For this process it is necessary to know the combination of valid password of user name. When someone use his/her default account name then attacker will easily crake the account password. The attacker find password easily if user has wicker blank password

Countermeasure: The attackers are able to crack the passwords because of weak user's passwords. The storing of clear text credentials in configuration files, passing clear text credentials over the network and using weak authentication mechanisms are crucial things for security weakness. These can be avoided by using strong password policies, storing credentials in a secure manner and using genuine method which may not require clear credentials to be passed over the network.

iii. Disclosure of sensitive/confidential data. Sensitive data is unplanned way to the user that doesn't have the appropriate privileges to look it. Sometime it is done through parameterised error message then attacker will force on error and programmers will pass delectated information without selecting it. Countermeasures: This happens because of storing secrets in code, in clear text in files, registry, or arrangement and passing sensitive data in clear text over networks. However, these can be overcome by not storing secrets in software, encrypting delectated information or data to the network, securing the channel and encrypting data in make-up files.

Generally, securities breach is external act where security policy parties or procedure are bypasses. In online business security breach is most problems that subscriber personnel data are lost or bypasses. The consequences of security breach of subscriber personnel data is that the attackers will access to the subscriber ricer e mail personnel data or secret information .This lead to negative impact of subscriber as well as company .Subscriber volume will decrease as well as the goodwill of company will lost.
